Accessibility Statement
We want everyone to be able to use the Havilah Events Center website, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnifiers or voice control.
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA.
What we have done
- Every page has a skip link, a clear heading structure and a descriptive title.
- All pictures that carry meaning have text descriptions.
- The site works with a keyboard only, and focus is always visible.
- Form fields have visible labels, errors say what to fix and move focus to the first problem.
- Text and buttons have enough colour contrast, and the page follows your light or dark setting.
- Animation stops if your device asks for reduced motion.
- The layout works on phones and when you zoom in.
Known gaps
- Some venue photos are guest photos with no description beyond a short caption.
- The embedded Google map has its own accessibility limits. The address and a link to Google Maps are given beside it.
